Sapiens is the research methodology that applies to all elBullifoundation projects, such as Bullipedia. It can be applied to any topic, and serves to understand first and act later, with various purposes such as: managing information, learning, teaching, communicating, analyzing the context of a company, analyzing a company, improving aspects of a company, creating or innovate.
This methodology has already been applied in several projects promoted alone by the foundation and also in projects in collaboration with external organizations such as Grifols, Esade, Roca, Sant Joan de Déu, HP, FC Barcelona, Ara newspaper, Prodigioso Volcán, Dom Pérignon, Disney, Caixabank, Fundación Telefónica or AECOC. The definition of the methodology has been parallel to its application in these projects in an experimental way.
The Sapiens of Western gastronomic restoration is the project that applies the Sapiens methodology to the study of this discipline. It has been the driving force behind the foundation since 2014 at elBulliLab, and continues to this day, as it is a long-term project.
The disclosure of the Sapiens of Western gastronomic restoration is done through Bullipedia, a multimedia platform for editing content in different formats, which is the first encyclopedia on gastronomy, creativity and innovation in the world.

The content generation process for books and websites of elBullifoundation follows the three main phases of Sapiens: an initial phase in which the object of study is delimited, a central phase of knowledge generation, and a final phase in which it ends the content in its final form, working closely with the design team.
