Systemic method
To understand we have to connect knowledge

What is it?

The systemic method is based on systemic thinking, and is divided into two main visions: the context, formed by the systems of nature, the human being and the action of the human being, and the company system, formed by the different elements that give rise to the Business Identity Document (DIE). It consists of locating the object of study in the context and analyzing the company's system.

The method in a flash

If you have 10 pages with information on a topic, for example water, how would you go about ordering and connecting the knowledge? We do it through the systemic method.

  • Where does the theoretical approach on which the method is based come from? Of the General systems theory.

The General Theory of Systems is complex, and what we do in the theoretical book of the Sapiens methodology is to decode the theory to make it accessible to the general public, and specifically to medium and small companies, so that they can understand and apply it to manage and innovate more efficiently.
  • We call this simplified interpretation "neighborhood systems thinking".

What is a system? According to our vision, a system is made up of process and context, and within the process there are some tasks. General systems theory also talks, for example, of inputs and outputs, but we do not call them that. For us, the process uses resources and produces results.

What purposes does it serve us for?

To identify and organize systems and their elements, and relate the systems to each other and the elements to each other. This, in turn, will allow us to connect concepts and thus generate knowledge to better understand any object of study.

What results does it generate?

  • Un systemic map, which allows connecting the knowledge generated with the previous methods.
  • El business identity document (DIE)
